Nordic NaBS Project
The Nordic NaBS project develops cooperation between farms, natural resources and tourism companies and professionals within public health care, social work and educational services. The expertise and resources of the various industries in Finland, Sweden and Norway are taking advantage of in developing common business and service models that are particularly suited to the northern nature and cultural conditions.
Who can participate:
- Entrepreneurs and actors in social work, health care and educational services
Measures:
- Explore the approaches that utilise the positive effects of nature on wellbeing, including Green Care, Grön Arena, Naturunderstödd rehabilitering (NUR) and Inn på Tunet
- To meet service providers and producers and to establish partnerships and networks of cross-sectoral and regional boundaries in Finland, Sweden and Norway
- Developing competence in client-centred service design, product design and commercialization
- Designing, testing and evaluating nature based service models for entrepreneurs and actors in the social work, health care and pedagogical services
- Developing joint Nordic approach for nature based social work, health care and educational services
